Caring for our feathered friends for over 50 years
Over the last 50 years Wadars animal rescue charity has dealt with many thousands of wild and domestic animals and birds and last year alone
looking to the future
This is a very exciting time for Wadars as we continue to develop our Animal Rescue Centre in Ferring. We have completed the construction of a purpose-built cattery for the rehoming of cats and kittens, and also developed a small animal unit in which we care for rabbits, guinea pigs, and other small mammals until they are found new homes.
We have rehomed cats, dogs, kittens and puppies in the community for the last 50 years, but previously all of our animals have either been cared for in commercial catteries and kennels or with our volunteer fosterers until suitable forever homes could be found. The new cattery means that cats and kittens looking for new forever homes are now cared for by our specially trained Wadars Animal Welfare Team.
SUPPORT animals in our care
With your support Wadars can care for even more birds, wildlife, and companion animals. Among other things, donations will help to fund our veterinary and kennelling fees.
