Fire Station Open Day - 8am-4pm
Broadwater Green, Ardsheal Road, Worthing, BN14 7RN
Come along and support the WADARS stand at this event. See behind the scenes of how your Fire & Rescue Service works. Other activities include, fire engine simulator, road safety advice, model trains and boats, face painting, pony rides, go karts, craft stands, vintage fire engines and much more.

Worthing Birdman Competition
Come and cheer on Elaine Sinclair and Chris Niall once more as they hurl themselves off of the end of Worthing Pier, on the behalf of WADARS, in an attempt to win the 2010 Worthing Birdman Competition

Sunday 19th September
Sponsored Dog Walk - 11am start
Highdown Hill, Worthing, BN12 6PF
Come along and join our sponsored Dog Walk kindly arranged by Grove Lodge Vets. Meet at the Highdown Hill car park and take a leisurely walk along the Downs to the Spotted Cow Pub for refreshments. The walk takes approximately 90 minutes in total. Sponsorship Forms can be obtained from Grove Lodge (01903 234866) and WADARS (01903 200506) or pay £5 on the day.
All proceeds to WADARS.

'Classix'
Friday 12th November
Bands' Night - The Dome, Worthing
Doors open at 7 pm, bands start at 8 pm prompt
Two outstanding local bands will appear together, for one night only, to raise the roof - and lots of money for WADARS! Those of you who remember the days of live music at The Inn on the Prom, Worthing will remember the lively nights provided by Clash City Rockers. Charismatic front man Stuart Brand is bringing his current band, Classix, to Worthing to play alongside well known local band Supersaurus. Classix play a mix of punk and rock covers, adding their own twist of fun to classic songs from the likes of Green Day and Foo Fighters.

Superb Supersaurus play everything from Kings of Leon to The Beatles, via AC/DC and Sugababes – you'll dance all night! Click here to listen to Supersaurus my space.
When the bands aren't playing, the DJ will keep you on your feet. Tickets for this event are a bargain at just £5 and will be available from Grove Lodge on 01903 223131. There will also be a DJ and raffle with lots of brilliant prizes.
