Animal Rescue

WADARS employ Senior Animal Rescue Officer, Billy Elliott and Animal Rescue Officer, Vikki Golds, who between them provide 6 day a week cover (subject to training, holiday or sickness), Monday-Friday 9am-7pm, Saturday 9am-5pm. They also raise our community profile by giving talks at schools and other local organisations where time permits. Vikki is currently on maternity leave, and her position is being covered by Lee Gander.

We also employ David Gambriel, our Animal Collections Officer, who complements the AROs during Monday-Friday.

Details of their work can be found in the 'Our Work' section of this site. An important part of their role is working and co-operating with other local animal charities and local authorities.
