Join us to Walk for Wadars on Sunday 12th May!

Walk for Wadars is our annual 5-mile sponsored walk which we hold to raise much needed funds for our work.

The event starts at Goring Gap Green (close to the Sea Lane Café), then goes along the promenade to Worthing Pier, and back.The date for the 2019 event is Sunday 12th May.

MUTTS FUN DOG SHOW

Back by popular demand – Mutts Fun Dog Show for dogs of all shapes and sizes 

Sunday 1st September at Broadwater Green, Worthing, 11am-3pm. 

Dog show begins at 11.30 am.

Main event sponsor is Grove Lodge. Support from Unleashed dog day care.

• Two-ringed dog show

• Temptation alley, speed race (Black and White dog training Nina Bohm)

• Nick’s Circus Workshops throughout the day

• Catering including vegan options

• Vintage ice cream van

• Stalls available priced at £10 for charities and £20 for non-charities (for a 3m pitch space)

Guidelines and disclaimer


All participants take part in Walk for Wadars entirely at their own risk. Wadars shall not be liable, or accept liability, for any accidents, injury, loss or damage sustained as a consequence of participation in the event.

Participants are advised to wear suitable clothing and footwear for a five mile walk and be prepared for all weather conditions. They should also carry any medication that may be required for example asthma inhalers. Any participant who has doubts about their fitness or ability to take part should consult their GP or a suitably qualified health professional before participating.

An emergency contact number will be supplied to all participants prior to the walk and walkers should ensure they have both this number and a phone with them during the event. Participants should notify the walk organisers of any medical conditions that they need to be aware of.

Participants are required to register on arrival at the start before beginning the walk and on their return at the end of the walk to ensure walkers’ safety. There will also be checkpoints at the Canadian War Memorial and Worthing Pier.

If you are bringing a dog it must be kept on a lead at all times. You must ensure that your dog is under control at all times and provide any food and water required. Wadars will have poop bags available at the registration desk.

All participants under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. By submitting your entry form you agree to the above guidelines and disclaimer.
